Dr. Ann J. Clark spent most of her career as an academic researcher, most recently at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she directed the Center for Nursing Research. A sought-after speaker on the afterlife, she is a Michael Newton Institute–certified Life between Lives facilitator and a Reiki Master. She is the owner of and practices at Wisdom for Wellness in Hoover, Alabama. Her popular Great Loss workshops are offered online. She holds a BS in nursing from Macalester College, an MN from Emory University and is a registered nurse. Her PhD is from the University of Chicago. She is the author of numerous professional publications. Previous books that she has coauthored are Llewellyn’s Little Book of Life Between Lives and Wisdom of Souls, winner of a 2020 Coalition of Visionary Resources Gold Book Award. Her most recent publication is Healing from great loss: Facing pain and grief to recover your authentic self. She is the recipient of numerous awards, among them the prestigious Peggy Newton Award from the Michael Newton Institute.
