
We talk about empathy a lot, much like we talk about mindfulness a lot. But what are they, really and why do they matter? In this week’s meanderings, I share some of my thoughts on how and why self-empathy is under-rated and the power of practicing it with greater skill and frequency (hint: it’s about moving away from the ego and moving towards greater forgiveness and healing). We are here to learn how to love; self-empathy is a perfect place to practice.
