Lisa M. Sanchez is the vice president for Employee Experience and Engagement (Human Resources) at ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, CA. She leads a team dedicated to enriching the experiences and engagements for faculty and staff. Critical to this work is Sanchez’s direct work in what she calls ABIDE (access, belonging, inclusion, diversity and equity) as well as organizational culture. With this bandwidth of experience, Sanchez has been interviewed in publications and served on numerous panels on ABIDE, organizational culture, and The Future of Work as it relates to managing through and out of the pandemic.

It’s a riveting tale of surviving her father’s drunken episodes, child molestation, and many dysfunctional relationships she would also encounter. Yet, her story also describes healing and a journey of forgiveness and self-discovery through self-empowerment. She has appeared on television, radio, podcasts and magazine features to tell her story of resilience and perseverance.
