For over 16 years, Emily Gelblum has been studying human behavior. She has worked as a student success and leadership development coach, a director of student success, a student engagement manager and a qualitative researcher. She is currently working toward her Masters of Social Work at UNC Chapel Hill and interning at UNC Hospital’s Beacon Program, supporting survivors of intimate partner violence.

She lives in the woods outside of Chapel Hill with her spouse, child, and middle-aged pitbull mix who enjoys incessant squirrel chasing and greeting everyone who walks by the house, loudly.
